FSSAI license 

FSSAI is a standard certification provided by the Indian Government to everyone involved in F&B business to ensure the food is safe, healthy and with legal benefits. The chef is required to register with the FSSAI as a Food Business Operator (FBO). The chef can view the process of processing the FSSAI certificate on the following link, How to Apply. 

Maintain hygiene & cleanliness

The chefs are required to maintain proper hygiene while cooking the food. The chef must have a clean and sanitized cooking area to ensure that the food is safe to consume, without the food causing any health problems. The ingredients used in the food should be of good quality. Ingredients that are expired, rancid, rot, stale, spoiled, and amongst others should be avoided for use in the food prepared by the chefs. Delivering leftover food to customers is strictly prohibited.  

Timely preparation of food

The chef must be punctual while preparing the food to ensure timely delivery. The food must be prepared on time and be packaged by the time of delivery/pickup so that there is no delay in the food reaching the customer.  

Privacy disclosure for children

Chefs who are at least 18 years of age can only employ as an Aarogify chef. Employment of children in any form at Aarogify is strictly prohibited. All applicable laws relating to child labour including employment, working hours, overtime, wages, and working conditions shall be complied with. 

The chef is liable to inform Aarogify regarding any leaves so that the chef’s profile can be deactivated and customers can’t place orders in the chef’s absence. To ensure smooth functioning of the Aarogify and ease of use for the customer, the menus of the chefs menu must be updated with food items, prices, and availability.
